We received a State-issued directive from the Weber County Fire Warden regarding the following:  ALL fires are now prohibited, even if in an approved fire pit.  This includes, but is not limited to, fires fueled by wood and/or propane.  Use of propane barbecues is still currently allowed, but this could change, as well. Because of this directive, anyone observed setting, building, maintaining, attending, or using an open fire will be reported to Weber County Sheriff and may face a fine of at least $350 from Causey Lot Owners Association.  Absolutely no exceptions!

Furthermore, effective immediately, the Causey shooting area is now closed to all forms of shooting.  Absolutely no firearms of any kind may be discharged within Causey boundaries.  If anyone is observed violating this directive, they will be reported to Weber County Sheriff and may face a fine of at least $350 from Causey Lot Owners Association.  Absolutely no exceptions!
Finally, per Weber County, smoking, except within an enclosed vehicle, trailer or building, or while stopped in an area that is paved or free of all vegetation, is prohibited.  Operating a motorcycle, ATV, chainsaw, or other small internal combustion engine without an approved and working spark arrestor is prohibited.  Cutting, welding, or grinding of any kind is also prohibited.
At all times, discharge or use of fireworks or other pyrotechnic devices is ALWAYS prohibited within Causey.
If you have family or guests who use your Causey property, it is your responsibility to ensure they are aware of these directives.  You, as the owner, are responsible for any and all fines or legal actions associated with your Causey property and the aforementioned restrictions.
